Features:
• Can be used in TN-S system
• Remote and visual indication of protection device life status.
• The surge arrester meets IEC61643-1 Requirements for Class I surge protectors
• The unit is designed to be used between Zone 0 and Zone 1 (according to IEC62305-4 definition of Lightning Protection Area).
• BR-25GR 4P is designed to discharge high current surges without any destruction of the installation.
Application:
• The product is mainly used for primary protection of power system.
• Application-optimised and prewired combined lightning current and surge arrester for TN-S systems.
• Installed in the main power distribution box.
• Used to Industry and automation, commercial and residential installations, telecom & IT & data centers, water treatment, smart grid & LV metering, photovoltaic and wind etc.
Installation:
• Power must be cut off before installation. Live operation is prohibited.
• Suitable as the first step of protection in incoming power supply panels and areas with greater exposure to the atmosphere, where installations are usually provided with an external lightning protection system.
• It is recommended that a fuse or circuit breaker be connected in series at the front end of the surge protection module.
• SPD is installed in parallel at the power supply inlet end of the building distribution box or the equipment room. The product is installed in the guide rail type. If conditions permit, the Kevin connection mode can be adopted.
• During installation, connect the device according to the installation diagram, where L is the phase line, N is the neutral line, and PE is the ground line. Do not misconnect the device. After the installation is complete, turn on the circuit breaker and check whether the working status is normal.
• When the SPD module is in use, check the status of the fault display window regularly. If the fault display window is red or the remote terminal outputs an alarm signal, it indicates that the SPD module is faulty and should be repaired or replaced in time.
• Suitable for indoor operation, if installed in the outdoor, must be equipped with waterproof box.
• All connections must be strong and reliable
